OMFG I couldn’t put this one down! The Unicorn Hunters by Katherine Arden might be my new top pick of the year.
The longing, the history, the complex narratives. I’m swooning 😭 If you get the chance, you really really really need to read this one ❤️ This book follows the young duchess of Brittany who is desperately trying to avoid marriage (and annexation) to France. She schemes to go on a fake unicorn hunt to give her more time, when the most unexpected thing happens.
