Wolf Worm… Omg I loved Wolf Worm. Y’all know I’m a fan, and this one was excellent. I can tell T. Kingfisher loves a good female protagonist with a profession in insects, and you know what, I do too now! If y’all like atmospheric horror, y’all will love this one.

On a side note, I lived in this part of NC for a minute! I grew up near Charlotte and went to NC State.

This book follows a woman in the late 1800’s traveling to a scientist’s house to illustrate for his book. Please read if you like the following:

🩸Classic paranormal creatures depicted in a different, refreshing way
🪰Strong females MC’s with hella personality taking the lead
🌳Discovering the true “monsters” aren’t the real villains
