Wretch by Eric LaRocca

Book cover for Wretch by Eric LaRocca. Set against a gritty, textured black background, the cover features a central, polaroid-style image with a yellowish-green tint.

Wretch one was a twisty one! I think you have to go into this book with the expectation that the main character is interesting, rather than likeable, which I believe was intentional. I was left wondering what was happening with the “villain” Porcelain, and his story. I loveee it when horror leaves me wanting more creepy backstory.

This book follows a widower mourning the death of his husband. He finds a group claiming to find their dead loved ones in the pictures they take.
