Among the Stars and Bones

Among the Stars and Bones is the story of a team of xenoarchaeologists investigating ruins on distant worlds left behind by an alien species dubbed The Proximans. Each episode, five key members of the team report back on their findings and developments around the site. They work for The Eudoxus Initiative, a joint corporate, military, academic and government initiative that combines the finest minds available with the resources to study the aliens, but also with a mind to exploiting the remains of their technology for humanity’s (read: shareholders’) benefit.

In the first season the team find themselves on Tefen, a toxic planet with secrets below its surface. There they discover an ancient terraforming device, a colony city over two miles deep in the ground, and hundreds of dead Proximans. Unless the team can solve the mystery of how and why the city became a tomb, they too may end up numbered among the dead.
