Mentor by T.S. Barnett
Inspiration
One of the things about Mentor that I really enjoyed was the chemistry between the three main characters. Elton’s disdain for Cora and Nathan’s love of sugary breakfast pastries amused the hell out of me, and so I decided that this would be my inspiration. 😀
Recipe
You will need:
- Microwave & Small Bowl or Stove and Small Saucepan
- Shot Glass
- Spoon
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 3-4 tbsp Powdered/Icing Sugar
- 2 drops Vanilla Extract
- 0.5 oz Cinnamon Whiskey
- 1 oz Butterscotch Liqueur (I used DeKuyper brand)
In your small bowl or saucepan, melt the butter and remove from heat (about 20secs in microwave). Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and stir until thoroughly mixed. Return to heat (another 10-15 secs in microwave) and continue stirring until the texture is thick but runs off your spoon. Take your shot glass and coat the rim with the icing mixture. Allow to cool.
Pour room temperature Cinnamon Whiskey and Butterscotch liqueur into the prepared shot glass. Enjoy!
Wait wait wait… let me get this straight. With every review you give a shot receipe suggestion?
Not always a shot, but I do make a custom cocktail to go with each book! 😀
Wow. Well. That’s just fantastic. I love it.
Thank you! I have a lot of fun with it. 🙂
I can imagine you do. Once I get some money… I will surely join you even if the books might vary lol
Oh this sounds good. I’ve been wanting to try a Hot Buttered Rum and now I need to add this to my menu!
I can confirm that it’s warming and delicious! 🙂
