Chaos Drinks my Beer

Inspiration

Ordinarily I’d associate a Noir with bourbon, but during the course of Chaos Trims My Beard Edwayn largely drinks beer. There’s also a mention of fruity cocktails early in the novel, so I decided to combine the two. I recommend drinking this ice cold, so keep your grapefruit and lemon in the fridge beforehand.

Recipe

You will need:

• Highball Glass
• Lemon Juicer
• 1.5 oz Peated Whisky (I used Black Grouse)
• 1 oz Triple Sec
• 1 Lemon
• 1 Grapefruit
• IPA or Pilsner, depending on your preference

Measure whisky, triple sec, juice of half a lemon and juice of half a grapefruit into your highball glass. Top up with beer of your choice. Enjoy!
